MY GAME WORN HUB
BEFORE YOU START, this site looks tremendously better on a computer or tablet as opposed to a phone. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING AT IT WITH A PHONE!!!
Thank you for choosing to visit my game worn site titled "Off Their Backs" dedicated to the players and teams I enjoy watching! I think the name says it all from how I want them untouched by autographs and/or any kind of removals whether it be a nameplate, captaincy, or patches. I wanted to take my love of hockey, sports cards, and video games and incorporate them all here together. So throughout the pages you will see elements of all them all along with what brought you here: Game Worn Hockey Jerseys.
Navigation is done from the top of the page and below with some of the smaller parts of the collection. I have tried to make it self-explanatory so you can go where you want with ease. Simply hover your curser over the categories at the top of the page you would like to view. Choose what sub-category (if applicable) you want and then and (only then) "click" on them to be redirected to that particular page. Below are some simple explanation behind the different categories of my collection. Each section will feature the players and the jerseys that came off their back along with a story as to why "that jersey" or "that player" are in my collection. I find anyone can have a jersey, but it is the stories that go with them that truly make them special not only for me, but others. For the most part, just about every picture is clickable to take you somewhere or enlarge.
NOTE: When you read the details of the 'Game Use' of each jersey please take note that the wear is described from the viewpoint of the VIEWER and NOT the left and right sleeve as if you were wearing the jersey.

MY NCAA HOCKEY COLLECTION
I am a big fan of the NCAA Division 1 hockey and this section focuses on the three NCAA teams I like and a support. You will be able to click on those school and scroll down each of them for a look at the various jerseys. The main focus, however; will be the two schools I watched the most of during my college days until now: Boston University & Providence College . I'll also have a minor collection of UMass Lowell and UMASS-Amherst that I will show off with a few other players from other schools I enjoy sprinkled in.

THE NHL PLAYERS COLLECTION
The 1990's were a time of high school and college for me. My free time during those ten years, I watched a lot of hockey, played a lot, and just couldn't get enough. As a kid in the 80's I also saw some hockey, but the 90's was the prime for me watching and collecting cards. I played hours of the EA Sports NHL franchise each and every year with my roommates, friends, housemates, and even with some girlfriends. The Sunday game of the week really opened my eyes to a number of other players. Mostly, they were the role players as I could relate to them a whole lot more than the Lemieuxs' and Gretzkys'. This part of my collection is a look back on those players I enjoyed watching, collecting hockey cards of, and playing in video games. I loved the grinders, 3rd liner, Offensive Defenseman, the beloved defensive D-men, and guys who would do anything to help win a game.

1994-1995 AHL ALL STAR GAME
This year was my freshman year of college and I had never seen an All Star Game NHL, AHL, or otherwise. I remember purchasing the tickets (4 of them) to go to the game for dirt cheap since I was a student. What a blast it was to go to the first AHL All Star game in 35 years and my first ever. This area is related to this specific game and the great players from the game.
