Robbie Baillargeon ranks as one of my all time favorite Boston University Terriers and the first one I have ever met.
Baillargeon led the team in scoring in 2013-2014 when the team had a less than impressive season. As a Terrier he took the #19, but wanted the #9 after his grandfather who had worn it and his favorite NHL player growing up, Mike Modano. He would have taken the number in his sophomore year had some guy named Jack Eichel not been there. On the ice Baillargeon has a very deceptive speed that he can turn on to blow past a defender or get to an opening while on the rush. Those wheels powered him along and helped make him the scoring leader during his freshman year. He can handle the puck on both his backhand and forehand. Baillargeon makes smart hockey choices and can pass or shoot with equal skill. Coming in on goal, he can dish to a teammate or let go a quick, accurate snap shot on net. Unfortunately, he got sick his sophomore season and BU decided to place him in holes. In a few games Baillargeon even played defense on the third pairing Doyle Somerby. As a student, he studied hard and completed college in three years and graduated. With one more year of eligibility, Robbie choose to explore elsewhere as a graduate student and moved to Arizona where he would lead the Arizona Sun Devils in scoring for his final NCAA season. It was during his final year of college hockey that I would get to know him and his parents. We would then meet when his team traveled to Happy Valley to play Penn State in two contests. I will admit I was nervous, but he and his family exceeded my expectations and have made me a fan for life! This article below PERFECTLY sums up the quality of man Robbie is: STATE PRESS LINK BOSTON UNIVERSITY CAREER STATS (2013-16)

2013-2014 BOSTON UNIVERSITY HOME WHITE SET
GAME USE & ABUSE: This jersey does not have an abundance of wear, but of it (the wear) there are some good marks. Starting on the left sleeve, there are a trio of light marks. The opposite arm has a four marks and a quarter-sized repair to the forearm. On the front it hard to miss glaring repair that starts just below the "B" in "BOSTON" and runs southwest towards the seam. A handful of washed out marks (Perhaps five in total) run the length of this jersey from bottom hem to shoulder yoke. The back features some light marks on the bottom left of the jersey that were most likely made by a stick. In total there are probably ten marks, but one might deduce that the wear was made from one single incident.

2013-2016 BOSTON UNIVERSITY ROAD RED SET
GAME USE & ABUSE: The use is minimal on this jersey, but yet very noticeable. The left sleeve features a pair of marks, three snags, and a lone repair in the red forearm. Over on the right sleeve two more repairs in the forearm region and pair of marks up by the shoulder in the white. The front has minimal wear with just fraying to the crest and numbers. The 30th Hockey East Patch was on the jersey, but was removed. The back has three light mark in the white stripe.
