1985-1986 PROVIDENCE COLLEGE BLACK ROAD SET
GAME USE & ABUSE: This jersey shows off some decent wear given it is all black. On the left sleeve a pair of repairs can be seen: one on the elbow in the yellow and one up by the number nine. General filth, very light stick marks, an unrepaired hole, and some red faded paint transfer complete the game use on this sleeve. The right sleeve has three repairs (all in the white or yellow stripe of the arm) multiple stick marks if varying sizes, red board transfer, and a smattering of speckled light marks on the forearm similar to those on the left sleeve. The front of jersey shows off one repair down and to the right of the Friar's hockey stick in the logo in the black area. Nineteen stick marks cascade across the bottom of the jersey in the yellow and white stripes. The "Providence" logo is puckering and the screened on "FRIAR" is still very much in tact. The back neck of the jersey has been reinforced with stitching down the hem. The number on the back has some slight puckering to it and a red paint transfer can be seen on the bottom left hand corner. Light stick marks can be seen across the bottom hem, but they are VERY light. Lastly, an unrepaired burn board hole is above the number in the black of the jersey.
