2013-2015 BOSTON UNIVERSITY HOME WHITE DOUBLE STRIPE SET
GAME USE & ABUSE: This jersey has great wear! The left sleeve displays ten marks although none of them are dark. In the elbow area, three repairs are clustered together. When you look at the right sleeve. there are five very light stick marks. The talking point is the nice big blue paint transfer and two smaller ones (one red and another blue one in the stripes). Then the front of the jersey is where the big show is. Starting on the bottom red stripe (far left) there is heavy pilling that invades into the white stripe above slightly. No real marks here until you get above the red stripe then a mark almost dead center. Going upwards, two repairs to the chest on either side of the number along with five stick marks all over the front. As we pass the "BOSTON" crest there is a repair on the right shoulder by the "A" and right below the red stripe. Across town on the other shoulder, there is a nice board burns and two great stick marks and two paint transfers (one silver and one red) all by the hockey east patch. The back of this jersey displays lighter wear. All counted, there are seven light marks with best to the left of the number. A light reddish-pink spot is also left of the number and could be post paint from being by the goal or a sports drink stain. On the bottom stripe, on the far right there, there is a some nice pilling to the jersey as well.

This jersey was worn for two seasons. After the Championship game, Sarah Kirkpatrick of the Daily Free Press wrote this exceptional article on the Terriers and Hohmann (Article here: Hohmann's BU Hockey Career). It is my favorite piece by her to date. The piece describes Hohmann to a "T" with his grit, heart, and determination eloquently documented. The jersey he did not want to take off is this very jersey. It is also why Cason Hohmann is one of my favorite BU players of all time!
