Viktor Stalberg has always impressed me and is the one Vermont player I had to have in my collection!
Stalberg is a big man at 6'3", yet possesses the speed and agility of someone much smaller. He swoops in with the puck on the wing and seems to always catch defenders napping or unfamiliar with his speed. Then when the defender thinks he is in his top gear, he finds at least two more gears and blows past him. He has a decent shot selection as well. Coming in off the wing, Stalberg can use a powerful snap shot or wrister on the goalie with a move or two in front of the net. While he ha a big body, Stalberg does not look to pound and thump on people. He will make the eliminate play on players, but never anything past that. He is not a vicious player. Stalberg was a standout at Vermont and helped his team make the push in 2007-08 for the post season. Despite how good he was, they ran into Boston University who had four-to-five "Stalberg" players on their team. He was a dynamic player who could change the game at Vermont and a threat to score every game. UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT CAREER STATS (2006-2009)

2006-2007 UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT WHITE HOME SET
GAME USE & ABUSE: Another great shirt for wear without a single repair. The left sleeve starting at the cuff has some general filth that dispates into 7 stick marks and finally fades into a few board burn holes at the elbow, before finally going to the white of the jersey at the upper arm. Two blue dasher paint marks can be seen also beside the numbers to the right. On the right sleeve, close to 50 marks start at the cuff and sunburst outward the farther up the sleeve you go. The darkness of these marks fades and has no real pattern to them. Two nice board burns also show up in the elbow region. On the front of the jersey 50 marks cascade down from the shoulders until they are muddled with the general filth of the lower hem. The back of this jersey does not disappoint either. Seven marks between the numbers and bottom hem show off the wear along with a skate slice on the bottom left.

2007-2009 UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT BLACK ALTERNATE SET
GAME USE & ABUSE: The left sleeve exhibits the typical signs of wear with this fabric in terms of bobbles and snags. There is also a 1/4 unrepaired hole in the bottom black sleeve as well as fraying to the numbers. The right sleeve has a decent stick mark in the yellow with the same bobbles and snags to the fabric. The front is a clean looking jersey that just absorbs stick marks, but pilling has occurred across it. Evidence of the 25th patch can be seen on the reverse of the jersey as it was sewn over the Hockey East Patch. A clean back with virtually no where for wear to be shown.
