Curtis Brown was a two way center I loved to watch. He worked so hard and was tenacious without the puck. He played a strong defensive game that didn't take away from his 2nd or 3rd line responsibilities.
Brown had good wheels and two way mentality when it came to the game he played. His faceoff skills were not bad either. CAREER NHL STATS (1995-2008)

1999-2000 BUFFALO SABRES BLACK ROAD SET 2
GAME USE & ABUSE: The left sleeve, for a black jersey shows off some good wear with seven stick marks noticeable in the white, red, and grey regions of the arm as well as a nice mark on the #7. Two unrepaired holes and three good snags round out the arm. On the right arm, we can see 20+ marks in a cluster emanating from the elbow region, and three unrepaired holes. The front displays ten marks included one nice on the lower left front in the white that looks like the "#7" and a solid mark on the bottom part of the crest to the left. A few light pulls round out the wear on a good jersey. The back has limited wear including three lighter marks all along the bottom third of the jersey a nice blue paint transfer on the lower left, and finally, a few lighter marks at the bottom of the #7. A Buffalo Sabres tag was attached to the neck via plastic wire that has been removed, but kept and the date of "1/4/00" and the #2 were written into the fight strap with black sharpie describing the set and when it was first used.

2003-2004 BUFFALO SABRES WHITE ROAD SET 2
GAME USE & ABUSE: If you measure a jersey by repairs then this jersey would be a bust, but if you were to measure it by stick marks... A whole other ball game opens up. The left sleeve has a dozen stick marks, all of which are in the white portion of the arm. On the right sleeve the number is easily doubled if not more. Then on the front of the jersey... A measly 38 marks show off that he was hacked and slashed almost as bad as a Jack the Ripper victim. The back of this jersey has the much expected lighter wear. Still at eleven marks it is hard to say it is light wear. The marks next to the nameplate and numbers on the right side make a good argument. Couple that with some jersey in the new NHL that you have a tough time counting eleven marks on the whole jersey and we have a winner.
